I operate a HITACHI (KH 100) DRAG LINE Machine in New Zealand.
The following tests were conducted on this machine.
The temperatures were taken with an electronic gauge, which is extremely accurate.
It shows that by using Bi-Tron 2*4*6 Metal Treatment, we have achieved reduced operating temperatures and wear. That is, heat will cause the metal to expand and so increase the level of friction and wear, which will in turn, contribute to the heat and further expanding of the metal creating more friction, and so on.
Hydraulic Oil Temperature Tested on 4th @ 10.00am.
Winch Motor =71deg. C
Hydraulic Pump =66 deg. C
On 19th 10.00am 12 litres of Bi-Tron 2*4*6 was added to the tank.
Hydraulic Oil temperature Tested on 28th @ 11.00am.
Winch Motor = 51deg. C
Hydraulic Pump = 44deg. C
The Bi-Tron 2*4*6 Metal Treatment helps break this cycle and in turn is a great preventative maintenance program.

Bi-Tron Declaration
With over fifteen years experience in Chemical Research & Development and having consulted for such world renowned companies as Cosworth-Technology, Boeing Aircraft, British Airways, Britannia Airways, Monarch Airways, Birmingham European Airways and Biogard Chemicals UK. I have had the opportunity to evaluate many products that claim to make an improvement to the environment and save energy.
I heard about the Bi-Tron range of products through a colleague. Needless to say I approached these products with a degree of cynicism, but to my amazement I saw for myself what these products were capable of.
In my opinion the Bi-Tron range of products are the most efficient and highest performing products on the market today. I do not say this lightly; I have tried and tested the Bi-Tron range alongside its competitors with the most sophisticated equipment available. I am completely satisfied that they are the best petroleum based products available anywhere at present. The Bi-Tron lubricants have the ability to raise the friction reducing properties of gear and engine oils far beyond their natural threshold.
The Bi-Tron fuel conditioners have proved to dramatically lower harmful emissions by improving combustion, resulting in increased efficiency and performance. This will give automatic savings of between 8-10% in fuel consumption guaranteed by the emissions test. The environment needs products like Bi-Tron that reduce un-burnt Hydrocarbons and high levels of Carbon Monoxide from petrol and diesel engines.
All the components used in the Bi-Tron range of products are carefully selected to meet the stringent requirements laid down by the E.P.A. and the European Commission.

Update on our testimonial of the 19th December 1997.
3 Months later.
The fuel costs for our trawler 'CURRINGA' has now dropped from the $3010 before Bi-Tron for the ten day trip trawling to a now very pleasing $2100 per ten day trip.
Our commercial fishing vessel powered by a V8/92 G.M. Marine Diesel of 440BHP and has a fairly set operation from port to relatively the same area of the reef. Pre Bi-Tron costs were $850 per trip.
Now after two months of operating with Bi-Tron, the same trip now costs $650 to re fuel.
I have now put the 2*4*6 Bi-Tron Metal Treatment into the gearboxes on both vessels.
Another update August 1999 (20 months since first use of Bi-Tron).
The trawlers operation has now gone to fourteen-day trip on the same original litres of fuel (was a 10 day trip), That works out to be a 40% improvement.
The Bi-Tron Company informed us some time ago that the Bi-Tron Products were being improved: I believe that this extra gain is through the improved products.

I Christopher Malyszewicz of "Chemical Solutions Consultancy International" have thoroughly examined the range of the Bi-Tron products for corrosion and metal attack, and have found them well compromised with Calcium Sulphonate buffers which neutralise any acid residues.
Hence NO damage would result in ANY engine whether it be Petrol or Diesel as regards mechanical or chemical damage, correlated with the Bi-Tron range of products, as they are considered innocuous towards the engine.
I am satisfied with the overall performance and chemical characteristics of the range that they meet all standards of compliance and regulatory details for world-wide patents and will not cause any damage whatsoever to Petrol or Diesel engines.

Prawn trawler testimonial using Bi-Tron products.
Trawler C Girl, Owned by Messrs Bruce & Ian Harris
Bruce and Ian decided to fit a fuel flow meter to their trawler before using the Bi-Tron products. Ian as the skipper used the trawler with the fuel flow meter for a considerable time at varying RPM both steaming and trawling before adding the Bi-Tron product.
Below is a table of performances noted after only adding the Engine Formulation.

Since testing was carried out, the Fuel Conditioner has been added at 6 litres of Bi-Tron to 12,000 litres of fuel, and the trawler now gets an extra 2 nights trawling.

Initially Readings were taken before adding the Bi-Tron Treatments. All Readings were taken through a RPM Range from IDLE to 2500 RPM. Both vehicles were driven about 2000 klms under working conditions before 2nd. Tests were carried out.
Daihatsu Sirion was tested using the Bi-tron Petrol Fuel Conditioner ONLY.

Reduction will be gained by adding the Bi-tron Fuel Conditioner to the fuel as well as adding the Bi-tron EP20 to the crankcase oil.
Fuel Saving was not recorded.
